My name is Gianluca Flütsch and I’m a Swiss graphic designer based in Zürich.
I work in both the cultural and commercial field, with a focus on identity-driven design and branding. My work is grounded in the belief that visual identities should emerge from content, context and intention – not from predefined styles.
Design, for me, is a tool to create clarity and meaning. It should add value, remain precise and respond to the specific needs of each project.
I understand branding as a long-term, cultural process rather than a marketing instrument. In cultural contexts, it becomes a flexible system that supports complexity, continuity and interpretation.
My approach is research-driven and collaborative. I work closely with clients to understand the cultural, social or institutional framework of a project and translate it into coherent visual systems, publications or motion-based work.
The goal is not just visibility for its own sake, but orientation, accessibility and relevance.
I am particularly interested in collaborations with cultural institutions, artists, curators, publishers and independent initiatives.
