Swiss Design Awards 2024

Honored to have been able to showcase my project Signs of Remembrance at the Swiss Design Awards 2024. The exhibition space combines immersion and mediation. The projections on the walls function like a 3-dimensional, walk-in triptych. On the left wall, observers get a museum-like view of Zurich monuments from different angles and distances. Opposite, a reversal takes place: Visitors take on the monuments’ views and get to see what these statues have been looking at for centuries. On the wall in the middle, the monuments are displayed as 3D objects and move around their own axis. While the projections represent the immersive part of the exhibition, the didactic mediation of the project takes place in the middle of the room. Here, the concept of the mobile application is explained and insights into the development process are provided.

The project was nominated in the Media and Interaction Design category of the Swiss Design Awards by the Federal Office of Culture.
